Siris archiving system

The SIRIS system is formed by filing-bookcase units of double face sliding on rails. With the use of a steering wheel the units are sliding thus opening the desired, by the user, corridor. Movement is done smoothly, quietly, with great safety and requires minimum strength (0,05% of the weight). For instance the movement of ten 5m loaded units even with a total of 600 running meter shelves does not require any significant effort.
The SIRIS system covers a wide range of needs.

It consists of metal rails over which the double-sided metal filing cabinets roll.

The filing cabinets can have from 2 to 5 module lengths (of 80, 90 or 100 cm width and 2.08, 2.23 or 2.48 cm height), with 4 or 5 height adjustable shelves per module (depth 32cm).

The motion transfer is accomplished through a wheel with a system of sprockets and chains. The system has a central locking mechanism and an immobilizing safety function for each cabinet.

All metal elements are made of formed steel sheet of 0,8mm thickness and are powder coated.
